Mansfield, MA – March 11, 2026 Hilco Vision today announced that its Board of Directors has appointed John Lakey as Chief Executive Officer, following the successful completion of a comprehensive search process.
Lakey, who was serving as interim-CEO, has been a leader in the eye care industry since 2012. He joined Hilco Vision in late 2018 after the company acquired Eye Care and Cure where he was Chief Operating Officer.
“John’s proven leadership experience and ability to execute strategic initiatives across the optical industry made him the right choice to lead Hilco Vision forward,” said the Board of Directors in a joint statement. “We are confident that his vision, operational expertise, and commitment to customers will further strengthen the company.”
