Vision Health Alliance Builds Awareness Around Eye Health with Industry Partners
During the recent Vision Expo West trade show in Las Vegas, Hilco Vision was proud to join with Vision Health Alliance, EyeCare4Kids, and industry partners to help drive awareness around the importance of annual comprehensive eye exams. Created by the Vision Council, Vision Health Alliance is dedicated to making eye health a central part of the healthcare conversation, promoting eye exams and drawing attention to the importance of eye health as it relates to quality of life and early detection of life-threatening diseases.
Hilco Vision joined Vision Health Alliance and EyeCare4Kids on a particular campaign centered around the optical community coming together to build awareness and help underprivileged children to ensure they are able to receive comprehensive eye exams and glasses at no expense to them. As part of this event, 600 Emergency Kits were created and distributed to local school nurses within the Las Vegas area.
